Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions. The park’s lions tend to climb trees far more often than lions in the Serengeti National Park or Tarangire National Park.

Ngorongoro Crater
The Ngorongoro crater is also the world’s largest inactive caldera. The crater floor covers about 260 square kilometers and is the crater is about 600 meters deep. Due to the collapse of an active volcano over 2 million years ago, the Ngorongoro crater was formed.

Serengeti National Park

Kilimanjaro National Park
Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain on the African continent and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. It has three volcanic cones, Mawenzi, Shira, and Kibo. Mawenzi and Shira are extinct but Kibo, the highest peak is dormant and could erupt again.

Katavi National Park
Katavi national park is also believed to be harboring the largest herds of buffalos in the whole world. The kasitunga plains are the best palace for viewing games. Game drives are always conducted during day time from 7 am to 6 pm east African time.

Kitulo National Park
Kitulo is best known for the vast number of flower species that bloom across the plateau. Stunning orchids and yellow-orange red-hot poker grow with a myriad of aloes, proteas, geraniums, giant lobelias, lilies, and aster daisies

Mahale Mountain National Park
The park’s breathtaking array of habitats includes rainforest, grasslands, alpine bamboo, and woodlands; where some 50 species of animals have been recorded, predominant among these being representatives from various monkey and ape families, and over 90 unique species of fish swim in the clear waters of the lake.

Mikumi National Park
Mikumi is home to large herds of Elephants, Buffaloes, Zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, Leopards, Lions, Sable Antelopes, Great Kudu, and many more. The chances of seeing tree-climbing lions in Mikumi national park are higher than in the famous tree-climbing lions home that is Lake Manyara national park.

Mkomazi National Park
The Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary has attained international renown for rehabilitating rhinos, and it offers viewing and educational opportunities for visitors. Mkomazi is a fascinating destination for bird watchers, boasting more than 450 avian species including some Eurasian migratory species.

Ruaha National Park
Ruaha National Park is particularly famous for its large predator sightings. Research conducted by the Ruaha Carnivore Project, established in 2009, showed that the park is home to a whopping 10 percent of Africa’s lions, including large pride with 20 or more members.
